The Clubhouse at the Red Wings Stadium

The Red Wings planned a much-needed revamp for their players’ clubhouse. They wanted the clubhouse to have a bright and colorful fresh new look and feel while maintaining its functionality as a space for both home and away teams.

This renovation included beautiful images of the stadium and players, custom lighting, and dimensional logos, which completely transformed the space.​ After its makeover, the players were thrilled to call this their new home, as a great start to their 2024 season.

Jack Daniel's 10th Inning Bar at the Red Wings Stadium

The Red Wings Stadium secured a key sponsor for their 10th Inning Bar, renaming it ”The Jack Daniel’s 10th Inning Bar“. Jack Daniels wanted a fresh design for the bar that incorporated the essence of their strong branding.​

​The goal of this redesign was to prominently feature the Jack Daniel’s branding in a visually striking manner. The design included neon logos, custom wood paneling on both the walls and ceiling, and a prominent graphic showcasing a Jack Daniel’s product.  ​

The Wehrheim Gallery @ RIT

In this project for the Rochester Institute of Technology, we were tasked with finding a way to showcase the partnership between RIT and the Genesee Country Village + Museum – a partnership that has been in place since 2016.

The MSM team worked directly with the RIT and GCVM teams to create a space that artfully showcased the relationship of old and new with large-scale graphics, while highlighting student’s projects in custom product display cases that could be changed out throughout the year.

The 1,000 square foot Wehrheim Gallery is situated within the new Student Hall for Exploration and Development on the RIT campus and is an ideal place to showcase the work that students and faculty members develop together, in a bright and eye-catching manner.

University of Rochester

For the University at Rochester Golisano Children’s Hospital, MSM fabricated and installed a one-of-a-kind installation spanning 60′ in length. The whimsical installation was created through a custom façade to match the hospital’s existing gift shop, and housed a multi-layered city scene.

RGB lighting was installed in between each layer and was programmed to change from day to night so anytime you passed the installation, the scene would be saturated in a different hue.

Show / Meliora Weekend

University of Rochester

Meliora Weekend is the University of Rochester’s annual alumni event held at a variety of venues across their campus. The request: event installations that brings their Latin motto dramatically to life in a way that’s distinctive to each environment. The activations included:

  • On the main quad,”Meliora” spelled out in 8’ tall letters to match the majesty of the surroundings, also making for a fantastic photo opportunity.
  • At the art gallery, we went a bit off-beat with 750 meticulously placed glowing lights.
  • And in the music school, we created a beautifully crafted interactive wind chime from 147 musically-tuned metal tubes.
