For ConExpo 2026, WEG Electric Corp partnered with MSM to design a large-scale industrial trade show booth experience that showcased its motors, control systems, and engineering solutions in a highly structured and educational environment. The exhibit was designed to communicate technical capability, product reliability, and real-world application across key industrial sectors. Through clearly defined product zones and integrated demonstration areas, the space supported both self-guided exploration and facilitated sales conversations.

This 30’ x 40’ exhibit was designed as a functional, education-driven environment that prioritized clarity, accessibility, and product engagement. Distinct product zones showcased motors, control panels, and application-based solutions through a combination of freestanding displays, live demonstration units, and integrated digital screens. Large-format environmental graphics reinforced key use cases and technical specifications, helping attendees quickly understand product value. The result was a highly navigable, industrial-grade exhibit designed to support both technical education and business development conversations.

This booth was open and inviting with clear sightlines. Throughout the booth, over 50 motors, drives and controls of various sizes were displayed.  The product was prominently featured and organized by category and application.

The booth featured stations displaying multiple products with electronic messaging explaining the features and benefits of each of the products. Another highlight is the wrap around laminate bases that were built for the large product pallets so that the product could be easily placed on show floor.

PDC Machines Inc.

The Challenges: At the Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium, PDC Machines, a producer of diaphragm compressors and hydrogen stations, wanted a way to showcase their products and attract new customers in a way that was not only cost-effective, but also space effective. 

The main challenge we faced was finding a way to showcase their offerings as the machines and products they produce were too large to incorporate in their 10’x20’ booth space. 

The Solution: The design of this booth is anchored around a holographic projection of PDC’s products. By bringing in a projection system to project a holographic model of their machine, PDC was able to showcase their product in the booth and customers could interact with it as if it were physically on the show floor. 

The innovative, holographic features were complimented by unique design elements including a reception desk with pierce cut logo and toe-kick lighting, a dimensional back wall with seamless graphics and lit alcoves, and a custom-built charging table with built-in ports.
